- Feed dog comes up thru the throat plate to feed the bag thru the machine
- Throat plate should be replaced if it is scratched - a scarred up plate will not feed the bag correctly
- Throat plate may loosen thru use and vibration. Tighten down with Newlong screws only!
- This throat plate does NOT fit the other Newlong bag closers – only the NP-7A!
